Mazda Diesel Hatchbacks
Looking to purchase a Mazda diesel saloon, estate or hatchback?
Mazda was founded in 1920 under the auspices of the Toyo Cork Kogyo Company and, after various name changes, formally adopted the Mazda name in 1984, though every car sold from the beginning bore that name.
from the 1960's Mazda put a major engineering effort into the development of the Wankel rotary engine as a means of differentiating them selves from the other major Japanese auto companies. Beginning with the limited-production 'Cosmo Sport' of 1967 and continuing up to the present day with the RX-8, Mazda has become the sole manufacturer of Wankel-type engines mainly by way of attrition.
The effort to bring attention to themselves has helped enormously as the Company expanded rapidly exporting the famed 'RX series' all over the world.
Today Mazda offer a wide range of vehicles ranging from the economical 3 series compact cars, through the 5 series compact MPV's, onto the 6 series family saloon/hatchbacks and finally the 8 series which consists of large MPV's.
Add to this the MX and RX sports/ coupe vehicles, along with the executive xedos range, and you will find a comprehensive range of cars to suit your needs.Mazda Diesel Hatchbacks
